KeepTen’s AI agents assist with property-management tasks, which may include drafting messages to tenants and vendors, summarizing and triaging maintenance and work orders, suggesting next steps, organizing information, and — where you allow it — carrying out routine actions on your behalf. The AI is an assistant. It does not exercise independent professional judgment and is not a property manager, attorney, or licensed professional.
KeepTen is designed to keep you in control. You can configure approval gates per action type to decide whether an agent may act automatically or must wait for your review and approval before, for example, sending a message or dispatching a vendor. We recommend conservative settings, especially for communications, financial actions, and anything affecting a tenant’s tenancy. If you enable automatic actions, you accept responsibility for actions taken under the settings you chose.
KeepTen is not an emergency service and must not be relied on for emergencies. For situations involving fire, gas leaks, flooding, electrical hazards, medical emergencies, threats to safety, or other urgent danger, contact 911 or the appropriate emergency services and qualified professionals directly. Do not depend on an AI agent to detect, escalate, or respond to an emergency in time.
Communications and decisions in housing are legally sensitive. You are responsible for ensuring that anything sent or done through the Service complies with the Fair Housing Act and all fair-housing and anti-discrimination laws, and — if you use any screening or background information — with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and applicable adverse-action requirements. Do not use AI output to screen applicants, set terms, or make tenancy decisions in a way that could discriminate against a protected class. Review AI-drafted housing communications before sending.
Do not use KeepTen’s AI to: make fully automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on a person without human review; engage in discrimination or harassment; provide professional advice to others as if it were authoritative; or take actions you are not legally permitted to take. See the Terms of Service for the full acceptable-use rules.
AI features are provided “as is” without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Actions taken through the Service — including messages sent and approvals granted — are attributable to you. The disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification in the Terms of Service apply to your use of AI features.
If an AI output or action seems harmful, unsafe, discriminatory, or seriously inaccurate, please stop relying on it and report it to [email protected] so we can investigate and improve the Service.
We may update this AI Risk Policy as our AI features evolve; we will post the updated version with a new effective date. Questions? Contact [email protected].
